Fantastic experience: My partner and I worked with Laura and Claire to style our Belgian - Indian wedding last year, and we cannot recommend them enough. I almost want to get married all over again so that we can experience that magical decor one more time. From our very first conversation, Claire and Laura were warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely invested in our celebration - not only in bringing our vision to life but doing so in the most stress-free and joyful way. Claire and Laura offered thoughtful, creative ideas and carefully shaped our vision while staying within our agreed budget. From the get go we felt that they understood exactly what we wanted, and they executed it beautifully, in a way that complimented the rich architecture of the venue. We’ve received countless compliments on the decor, both on the day and afterwards (see the pictures below!). Communication throughout the planning process was seamless. We stayed in regular contact via phone and email, and they were always responsive. Whenever unexpected challenges came up, Laura and Claire made themselves available, and dealt with them calmly and with such kindness; it really made all the difference. We went into our wedding day knowing we were in good hands. Thank you, Laura and Claire, for making our wedding so incredibly special. Fantastic experience: When we first started planning our wedding I actively didn’t want a stylist as I thought that doing everything ourselves was the only that we could make it feel “ours”. I love design, had a reasonably clear idea of what we wanted the aesthetic to be, and I was set that we would DIY all the styling. When we met Village Green we instantly got on, and it was so nice to hear other people also get excited by the same ideas and aesthetics. They explained that we could be as involved as we wanted, and working with them didn’t have to mean we stepped away - it just meant more hands, brains and enthusiasm about it all! Throughout the process we had loads of communication, from the proper styling proposals and mood boards, to just sending each other quick ideas on WhatsApp (usually leopard print). They worked with our budget and preference to be quite hands on, and from day one they just got the vision. There were loads of ideas we hadn’t thought of which we LOVED and just added to the vibe of the day. We were fortunate to be able to set up the day before the wedding and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without them - from coming to our house to collect a mirror we couldn’t fit in the car, to getting us brand new colour for our draping as it just wasn’t feeling quite right against the brick. They kept us calm, were our biggest cheerleaders, and made the whole thing so stress-free and a dream to bring together. Everything looked so great, which was basically all I ever wanted for our day haha Can’t recommend enough, thank you all for making the day so easy and COOL ❤️‍

Fantastic experience: Working with Claire and Laura at Village Green was an absolute joy from our very first call. They really listened to what we wanted and brought our wedding vision to life with such care and attention to detail. Their communication was excellent, they were warm, knowledgeable, thorough, and consistently reassuring throughout the entire lead-up to our wedding. Fantastic experience: Claire and Village Green Events did an incredible job at decorating our Village Hall wedding venue. They listened to exactly what we wanted & made the hall come to life. They came over a few weeks before the day to scope the hall and work through what we wanted to achieve in the space. The day before they worked very efficiently, we still can't believe they managed to do the whole set up in a day! The day after the wedding they came back and took it all down and left the hall spotless - we'd released confetti cannons on the day which got everywhere but the hall thanked us for leaving the facility exactly how we'd found it. We couldn't recommend them more!

Fantastic experience: We used village green as our wedding decorator and coordinator. I could not recommend them more, the room looked amazing, they could not have been more helpful and they were delightful to deal with throughout! We organised a very DIY wedding and, thanks to village green, our final month was incredibly fun and exciting rather than stressful and busy!!!!

Fantastic experience: Laura and Claire did a fantastic job of styling our wedding venue. They are such lovely people and were so enthusiastic about turning our ideas into a reality which felt very reassuring. We had a small wedding reception and a bigger casual party over two days. They were able to use several things on both days to continue our theme but both days were individual and special in their own right. They even provided the most perfect frame for our crisp wall! Fantastic experience: Well what can I say about working with Village Green Events… Firstly I had spoken to a couple of other Wedding planning and venue dressing businesses but they just didn’t seem to get the feel I wanted and instead told me what I wanted! From the first conversation I had with Claire I just knew that she listened to my ideas and she completely put me at ease and help to expand on the theme I was looking for. When we met at the venue, the organisation, questions, ideas, I just knew that if I didn’t speak to Claire again until our wedding day, I would open the door and my vision would be perfect. Claire helped with so many other things like putting us in contact with a florist, outdoor entertainment and helped design and supply all of our stationary. The day arrived and wow, everything was so much more than I ever imagined, everything was just perfect! I’m so glad I made that call. People say who will remember what your table looks like but it was so much more than that, it created the feel, ambiance and looked bloody gorgeous!! I would 100% recommend anyone to make that call and get in touch as I know that you won’t get any better anywhere else. Fantastic experience: We hired Village Green to coordinate our wedding in early September and from the outset we felt completely at ease with their approach, their suggestions and their willingness to incorporate all of our ideas. As well as engaging with us regularly and providing hints, tips & suggestions to elevate our ideas, they really took on board everything we wanted from our day (colours, music, food choices) and just ran with it. We did a DIY wedding and the level of assistance they provided in bringing our dream wedding to reality was off the scale. We’d have been lost without them at times and can’t thank them enough. From liaising with and coordinating the vendors (some of whom they’d worked with before which was great, and others they built great rapport with), they also put our minds completely at rest both in terms of decorating the venue and ensuring everything ran smoothly, everyone was where they needed to be, music was played at the right time etc etc. No job was too big and even with days to go until the wedding they were still happy to be on the other end of the phone at all hours just to discuss finer details, budgeting and even introducing last minute suggestions. The way they were able to transform our venue from ceremony to afternoon meal to evening party was nothing short of exceptional. We’re so eternally grateful for everything VG did for us and we can safely say the day would not have been so spectacular without their amazing support & guidance. Fantastic experience: Well, where do I start!!!!!!!! I cannot even begin to describe HOW amazing Laura was. She quite literally transformed our wedding and captured the vibe completely!! I met Village Green Events at an indie wedding fair in Sheffield. I thought I had already made a decision about our stylist but after me and my best mate got chatting to Laura and Claire, I absolutely knew I needed them to style our wedding! Everything they discussed with us felt cool and stylish, and it felt like we’d known them for years, after just a short conversation I knew they were the one. The booking consultation was effortlessly easy, and it totally confirmed my decision to go with them. They’re both so laid back and open with so many ideas, it was fantastic! My originally plan for the wedding was hot pink and orange with disco balls, and a festival style theme. But. After falling in love with a quirky, sheer, mermaid type colour bridesmaid dress - my colour palette completely changed and Laura didn’t bat an eye. Infact, she embraced the change and totally ran with it. Laura completely understood the vibe, after visiting the venue with me and my husband and seeing the dresses - she just got it. We exchanged messages and Laura gave me so many ideas, things I hadn’t even thought of but absolutely couldn’t be without. The closer to the wedding, the more Laura felt like the most vital part to the jigsaw and I absolutely could not have been without her. Our venue provided a wedding coordinator, but our relationship with Laura grew so strong that we knew we had to have her there on the day with us! Laura knew the wedding inside out, the decor was perfect, everything pulled together perfectly and as someone who isn’t very creative - I could never have thought about all the small touches that brought everything together, and I can’t thank her enough for what she did. I have had so many comments on how amazing the venue looked and what an atmosphere it created. We wanted a laid back, fun, festival theme, with pops of colour and romance, and boy did we get it. Laura even picked me up in her car from the onsite cottage and drove me the tiny 2 minutes round to the barn so that my hair/make up and dress were still perfect I am so sad it is all over as the planning has been a pleasure. Me and my friends are all dreaming up events for the future when The Village Green Events can style for us again and make us all feel effortlessly cool - even though we are definitely not the cool stylish ones I cannot express enough how amazing it has been, I would book you again in a heartbeat and will literally recommend you to everyone we know. Fantastic experience: Hired them for my wedding at Wortley hall and WOW it looked good - so hands on and also included my DIY elements too, just set them out as i described it to them as well as hiring various different objects to make it looked like my various moodboards I bombarded them with so amazing and got so many compliments on how fun it looked! We did have to go a bit past our original budget but it was all broken down with what was for what so we got to choose what to include and what we didn't need for it. Fantastic experience: My husband and I got married in August at Wildhive in Derbyshire. Village Green Events helped style the wedding and Laura, who was our contact, was amazing to work with! She leaves no stone unturned when it comes to her attention to detail and execution. Everything was so well thought out and her ability to foresee things you will need or might want is truly amazing. Fantastic experience: Claire and the team were amazing at helping us bring our wedding to life. We needed outdoor chairs and long trestle tables and they were able to sort them for us with no issues. They sorted drop off, collection, and set up the chairs for our outdoor ceremony for us. Would 100% recommend getting in touch with them to help you with your wedding or event.

Fantastic experience: We loved working with Village Green to style our wedding. Claire had loads of great ideas about what would look good and fit with our style. We had a disco ball hoop, a funky streamer background, festoon lighting and games including hook a duck in the fountain at our venue. They even came and picked up everything later on Sunday, so we could host another little gathering on the day after the big event.

Fantastic experience: We worked with Laura and Claire from Village Green on our wedding at 99 Mary Street in Sheffield, and couldn’t have had a better experience! We wanted a slightly non-traditional day that blended our cultures (Mexican and British), and the team from Village Green did an amazing job of bringing it all together. All we had to do was explain our priorities and vision, and Laura and Claire went away and organised it all! Laura in particular went above and beyond in the final months before the big day, coming up with so many fun ideas and planning an incredible decor proposal which all of our guests loved. She even went out to order and collect 90 burgers from Burger King for our evening food, even though they thought she was pranking them! Both Laura and Claire are also just really lovely people, who are so easy to work with. They took away all the stress of wedding planning and helped make our day perfect. Fantastic experience: Wow, where do I start?! I am not creative at all so when it came to wedding decor I had no idea where to start. All I knew is that we wanted it to be simple but pretty. Whites and greens with a bit of fun. Claire and her team blew our minds with what they did. We had 33 glitter balls, 33! A proper party back drop with simple and elegant detailing. They worked with our florist to create the most stunning atmosphere and all of our guests were as impressed as we were. Absolutely no stress or hassle. Could not recommend more. If I do another big party/event they will definitely be the first people I would contact. Thank you again for helping on our special day.

Fantastic experience: We hired the Village Green for our wedding a few weeks ago. They were the only people we spoke to who listened to us and tried to give us wanted, rather than trying to shoehorn us into an existing package. They understood our idea that everything be bright and colourful perfectly. Our venue looked gorgeous, and they made us a fan arch that I think every guest had their picture taken with. Fantastic experience: 5 Star Recommendation! To Claire and the team at Village Green Events Company. There are no words to explain how thankful we are to you for are outstanding wedding day. We first contacted claire as shows highly recommended by our wonderful florist Meadows and Mulberry. Claire responded within only an hour with the most excitable, sweet email keen to start working straight away. From then onwards I knew these guys would be perfect. Rob and I got married at St Johns Church followed by a reception at Thornbridge hall on 02/09/23. The team helped us from the very beginning drawing up mood boards and plans to create our dream vision. From the beautiful uplights to match our bright colour scheme (pink and orange) so perfectly, to the festoon, to the gorgeous candles, to helping me select favours, designing to table and floral installations with the lovely florist karon Meadows and Mulberry and the great on the day support which included a trip to our house to help transport some photos, illustrations I had arranged. Claire was so committed to making sure we were happy, she attended multiple site visits to make sure everything was perfect. She was even there on WhatsApp when I sent her a quick note (when in primary panicking about flip flop colours!). She was also so encouraging and interested in getting to know us and this shone through as we felt everything was absolutely perfect and so us. What an outstanding, calm, adaptable , committed and lovely team you are. just when you think something isn't possible...these guys can do absolutely everything. Fantastic experience: The guys at Village Green Events supported us with our wedding day and they didn’t disappoint. Drapes, chairs, tables & tableware, candles & lanterns, blankets and games were what we asked for. Fantastic experience: Superb event planners! We had then for our wedding reception party, which was delayed to out 1st anniversary, so a big event lasting from 3pm til midnight. The two ladies who dealt with us were really personable, positive and helpful (Emily and Claire). They thought of things we hadn't even considered and had a really thorough approach, making sure they got our input at every stage. They also set up all the decor for us and helped manage things on the day. They really took the load for us with suggesting, contacting and negotiating with suppliers. So in the end we had an amazing memorable day, in large part down to Village Green. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Wow. Where do I start? We have been working with Emily and Eamonn for two years planning our dream Christmas wedding and never did did I imagine it would turn out as perfect as it did. We had been recommended to use them and also seen first hand their work at a friends wedding and we are so glad we followed. Lighting really is everything and the venue, which was already beautiful, looked ten times better once VG had got their hands on it. I felt like I was in a movie. Nothing was too much trouble and from start to finish Emily and the team engaged, listened, advised and helped us bring our vision to life. I could go on and on. Fantastic experience: My husband and I used The Village Green events for our Vow Renewal which we held in our garden in July. Emily and Eamonn listened to our ideas and came up with some of their own too. They organised everything: decorations, including lighting, DJ, food, bar and bar staff. Lovely, hardworking people to work with, nothing was too much trouble. The DJ was amazing, food was perfect. Libby and Lucy did an incredible job serving drinks etc, lovely, pleasant girls with a constant smile on their faces. We had an incredible day and all our guests commented on the décor and service on the day. Thankyou so much Village Green for giving us such a memorable day.

Fantastic experience: Emily and Claire helped us with our wedding decorations including lots of hire items, set-up and planning. They are true event pro's and just gave us so many ideas that really pulled the vision together. Fantastic experience: My husband and I used Village Green events for our wedding in October 2018. I knew from the start I didn't want an average wedding and Claire and her team did an amazing job in making my ideas a reality. They were so easy to work with, full of great ideas and suggestions for venues and catering, and even put me in touch with a brilliant photographer. We also had them there on the day to ensure everything ran smoothly and my husband and I could relax and enjoy ourselves along with our guests.
