Fantastic experience: We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with The Events Co for our wedding. From the start they just made everything feel easy and stress-free, which was a massive relief in the middle of all the wedding chaos. On the day itself everything ran so smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing and could just enjoy it all. The setup looked amazing and felt exactly how we’d imagined it. The team were lovely too — really calm, friendly, and just got on with everything in the background without any fuss. Loads of our guests also kept saying how good everything looked, and especially how much they loved the food! We’re so glad we chose them. Fantastic experience: You made the whole process from initial quote, to booking and agreeing the final order simple and I am so glad we chose you to run the buffet for us. I was worried that we had enough food on the day, as we had in total over 100 attendees! But the team seemed to stretch everything so that there was plenty for everyone. Everything went super smoothly and I am very grateful to you all. Very happy to recommend you, great service.

Fantastic experience: Honestly cannot rave about Kirsty and the Events Co. enough. They took absolutely all the stress away from our special day. Nothing was too much to ask. They were incredibly helpful with any questions I had. Even for our photos Kirsty was amazing. I don’t think our day would have been as smooth as it was without Kirsty. If you want a stress free wedding day, I would highly recommend asking the Events Co. for on the day co ordination xxxx

Fantastic experience: Kirsty and Kiah are the perfect pair to arrange anything. We had them plan our wedding and every little detail was taken care of. They made us feel like we were the only couple they were looking after. Nothing was to big or small for them to do. The day was perfect and I had the most incredible experience. Everything was looked after and I was the happiest least stressed bride thanks to these two. Not even thunderstorms and winds flustered kirsty! Kirsty managed to move our out door ceremony indoors and believe me you would never believe it wasn't always the plan. The day was perfect everyone has said its the best wedding they have been to and that is all down to the events co. Fantastic experience: Events Co helped organise mine and my partner’s wedding. There were incredible from the start with being very informative and supportive, especially when it came to what we needed for our wedding and what others had used for previous weddings. We got married at Appuldurcombe and Events Co were able to organise everything from lighting, to water, electricity, food, furniture etc. Khia and Kristy were ever so helpful in the planning process and the setting up which was exactly what we needed during the wedding planning stress. Khia and her team were also amazing on the day of, with constantly being on the ball and ensuring that myself and my husband could relax and enjoy the day without any stress. Fantastic experience: I never thought i would need an events coordinator for our big day. How wrong was i? We decided to use their services for the hire of the chairs and tables as our venue was an empty property. We looked into the other services provided and decided why not ask for their support on the day itself, so we can enjoy and spend time with our loved ones. Khia and Kirsty were amazing and ensured our day went without any issues. On the day Kirsty and her team were there and made sure each one of our guests were well looked after, especially as one was a wheelchair user and was made to feel truly included in our day and not shoved in a corner. Though the weather was awful Kirsty ensured we maximised the use of the venue and also helped get our beautiful photos outside when then was breaks in the rain. We had an amazing day as did our guests. If there was a higher rating, I would give it. A massive thank you to Khia, Kirsty and their team for a magical day.

Fantastic experience: We got married yesterday and used the Events Co as our all day coordinators. We can not recommend them enough. Nothing was to much trouble for them and all of their staff were extremely professional and did everything they possibly could to make us and our guests day as perfect as it could be. Fantastic experience: I don’t know where to start, we can not recommend the Events Co enough. Everything was so easy and well communicated, Kirsty and Khia were at the end of the phone any time I had a question. We used them for catering, bar, furniture and on the day coordination. We had Kirsty help run our special day at Newbarn farm. Kirsty was absolutely fantastic, she settled all nerves for how the day would flow. She took care of everything for us and also regularly checked in to make sure we were okay, had eaten, had a drink ready for us after the ceremony, or if we needed anything. The Events Co made our day even more fantastic, I will recommend them to any one getting married or having an event. Thank you all, but a special thank you to Kirsty for being so amazing!

Fantastic experience: We used The Events Company for hire of items and also for on the day coordination for our wedding at Haseley Manor. Khia and Kirsty were so helpful, and as part of the coordination service met with us 6 months before the wedding and the day before to make sure we had everything they needed to help the day run smoothly. I wouldn't have even considered some of the things they suggested so they were so helpful to have. Kirsty was our coordinator on the day of our wedding and was amazing!! The day went so smoothly and we couldn't have done it without her. I was quite reluctant initially about having a coordinator but I would 100% recommend. All items that we hired from Events Co were great and as described too, with efficient delivery and collection. We were adding extra things days before the wedding and I really appreciated the support of Khia and Kirsty with this!! Thanks so much!!

Fantastic experience: Khia and the team helped us with our wedding back in August! We hired pretty much everything from them, furniture, bar, toilets,power and the most delicious food (the food was to die for!)Not only did everything go without a fault, everyone was helpful but they went above and beyond with helping me and my husband as we were absolutely clueless and made the whole thing so easy. We met alot of people/businesses along the way and meeting with Khia was the only time we left the meetings at ease instead of with more questions. We decided to spend the few extra pennies to have Khias services on the day of our actual wedding, if there's anything you take from this review is to most definitely have her if you can! Couldn't recommend The events co more and we will be forever greatful for their services..

Fantastic experience: Right from the start Events and Co couldn’t have done more for us. From meeting with Khia when we just needed someone to make us feel calmer to the big details of organising everything. We loved how honest they were with everything about our wedding and bringing out ideas to life. The food on the day was also incredible, with pretty much everyone speaking to us after about how amazing our wedding food was!!! And then our coordinator Kirsty, she honestly made us feel like our wedding was the most important day she had ever been on. As I Arrived she was even carrying my nephew ,who had already taken to her, to pass her to my sister ready to goo down the aisle. She couldn’t have helped more to make sure everything went seamlessly and not just this but throughout the day she was so smooth that she just made everyone fall in love with her and even sent us some pictures and videos the next morning that she’d got for us ! She worked amazingly with all the suppliers and we honestly didn’t have a thing to worry about all day! I couldn’t recommend this company enough and will continue with everyone that I know getting married or married handing an event from health forward. Fantastic experience: We want to say a massive thank you to the events co for all the amazing help with our wedding! Everything was perfect and they have all been the biggest help! From hiring furniture, delivery of everything to running the bar it was all done perfectly! A big thank you to Kirsty who was amazing! Fantastic experience: We used The Events Co for our wedding at New Barn Farm this summer and could not recommend them enough. Their furniture/crockery hire service was so seamless with delivery the day ahead of when we started set up which gave us plenty of time, the catering was exceptional - they worked with us to create a bespoke BBQ menu and all the guests commented afterwards how great the food was - and the team’s waiting and bar staff were so accommodating and friendly. But Kirsty’s on the day coordination was by far the star of the show and something I would recommend to any couple. Nothing phased her - specific guest requirements, room change overs, even last minute change of plans due to the weather - she made our day run so smoothly and we’ll be forever grateful!

Fantastic experience: We decided to use Events Co for our wedding at Appuldurcombe House after meeting Khia at two Wedding fayre’s at Medina & IOW Pearl. From the very start Khia had the answers in terms of power, toilets, tables, food, decor, staff, a bar and so much more specifically at our venue and had several meetings and phone calls with us over a 22 month period building up to the big day. Consistent calls and emails with Khia and her colleague Kirsty ensured everything we had booked and wanted was ready to go and nothing was ever forced or unreasonable, if anything the opposite. As the wedding approached they really came in to their own, checking on finer details such as what flavour ice creams we preferred on the ice cream bike and the positioning of the burger van (out of a horse box) they had also provided. On the Thursday and Friday like clockwork Khia and the team were there, everything as ordered and being set up exactly how we wanted it, at one point extra staff were there to help set up the tables and decorate, something we didn’t even expect! Every member of the team worked so hard to get our wedding ready and on the day they were great with on the day coordination from Khia themself and the canapés, two course lunch (3 choices for each course) and then our burger and chips van exceeded expectation and got great feedback from our guests! Khia and the team remained on hand all day and eve to ensure rooms were switched round and pudding tables were topped up as well as keeping the guests watered at the bar! Full of good spirits, banter, accommodating our guests needs and having pics with my dad and refusing my mums supply of apple pies she had got reduced the day before! The wedding went perfectly and Events Co made it what it was without doubt! They were legends all of them and a massive part of our day being what it was. Thank you so much Adan & Harriet!

Fantastic experience: Kirsty and Khia were great at helping form the best wedding we could have asked for. They provided everything from chairs, bar and food to coordination. When we asked to tweak the menu they happily made a new dish for us and made sure we got to try it despite being whisked away for photos during canapés. Kirsty was incredible at coordinating the day which meant I didn't have to worry and I'd recommend to anyone using events co to go with that service, it just cemented a great day. Negative experience: Positives: Kirsty is very kind, and it was a pleasure working with her both the day before and on our wedding day. We had a fabulous day and can appreciate the effort Events Co put into the event. However, we encountered some organizational and communication issues. There were several misunderstandings, and a few staff members were not as courteous to our guests as one would expect. Despite paying for staff to move chairs from the ceremony to the reception area, many guests ended up doing this themselves. We also generously donated our new glassware at no cost after the event but did not receive any acknowledgment or thanks for this gesture.

Thank you for your kind comments regarding The Events Co.’s in put on your wedding day and for mentioning all of Kirsty’s hard work.
I apologise that you feel you encountered some issues. We will of course take all feedback on board and continue to work on improving our services.
Henry did mention the confusion regarding moving the chairs. Due to the late arrival of a supplier booked by yourselves to serve post ceremony cocktails the coordinator made the decision on the day to delay the moving of chairs and utilise our staff as a temporary solution to maintain a post ceremony drink offering to your guests, until the missing supplier arrived and had set up, which was also supported by our team by moving required furniture & equipment into place.
This caused an unforeseen delay and with a smaller time frame to move the high volume of chairs the coordinator asked for the support of the groomsmen to assist helping the 2 staff members already moving chairs, something that had been discussed the day prior and okayed by yourselves if felt necessary. As chairs were being moved it's only natural that some guests take it upon themselves to offer a hand, however this was not an instruction from any member or our team.
Apologies if you felt any of the staff were not courteous, this is something we find hard to believe as the whole team went above and beyond, carrying out tasks that were not initially agreed upon and working longer hours to accommodate the delay in service due to the England football game. Not all of the staff working at the wedding were part of our Events Co team.
Whilst we are very grateful for the glassware that you donated from the wedding, this was something that we had previously discussed and you offered us the opportunity to purchase it from you. We politely declined on a couple of occasions due to not being sure of its hire value, durability and the cost of buying the correct storage solutions for it. You explained that you had plenty of offers of other potential buyers which was great news!
Post event, when it seemed as though the task of washing, packaging and transporting the volume of glassware was clear, you asked us to take it, which we did. Boxing it and taking it back to be cleaned was a mammoth task.
We said thank you to Henry at the Manor when the discussion was had about the glassware and staff. I apologise if a grander gesture of gratitude was missing, however we are very grateful.

Fantastic experience: THE. ABSOLUTE. BEST. Khia and Kirsty are a dream come true. I reached out to the Events Co for wedding planning services but as a full 360 event company, I ended up utilising their services for event set-up and execution, catering and bar services. Additionally, as Isle of Wight residents, they know EVERYTHING about the island on top of what's happening, recommendations, knowing all other vendors (venue rental owners, florists, coaches, photographers, videographers) so made the communication between them all seamless etc. I currently reside in Jamaica and was planning our wedding 5,000 miles away with a 6 hour time difference and having their assistance and expertise made it a seamless affair and our dream wedding come true. As an event planner as well, I felt extremely comfortable knowing they had everything in control and were on top of everything. They are absolute professionals and if I was to get married again in the IOW or have any event whatsoever, I would choose them every single time.

Fantastic experience: Khia and Kirsty did a superb job on our wedding in July 2024. From our first call with Khia we were impressed, and all the way through to the wedding day itself they were great to deal with and ensured nothing got missed. It was also great to have Khia onsite on the day, we didn’t have to worry about anything. She makes it look easy which I’m sure it isn’t, and she has no problem getting stuck in if required (I saw her mopping a floor at one point which I wasn’t expecting). I’ve never written an online review in my life but happy to recommend The Events Company, we had a great day and are very satisfied customers.

Fantastic experience: We had the pleasure of working with Kirsty, Khia and the entire team at Events Co. for our wedding, and their contribution was nothing short of extraordinary. From the start, we received the most professional and honest service. We appreciated that nothing was forced on us and we could pick exactly what we needed for our big day. Nothing was too much trouble and whatever we requested along the way was met with a smile and was delivered efficiently. They supported us closely the entire time and helped us with the entire set up of the venue and organised everything to run smoothly the weeks leading up to the wedding. From our first meeting we got the comforting feeling that they genuinely care for each of their clients and understand what you are visioning easily within couple of minutes. We would recommend them to be hired as your wedding coordinators as they are the best in the events field and would give you the personal touch and care that you need especially at some of the most stressful weeks before the big day. Communication smooth and efficient throughout the planning process, and they were always prompt with in addressing our questions and concerns. Even when there were few stressful moments, Kirsty and Khia already though ahead and had a solution for every issue that occurred or may have occurred. On set-up day everyone went above and beyond to make everything look beautiful and better than what we even imagined. A big shout out to Koo, who designed all our stationary and put up with all of our demands even until the week before printing. We would also like to mention that everything we hired was in great condition and the furniture looked great when all set up. Fantastic experience: We used The Events Co (IOW) for our wedding last weekend for bar, catering and coordination. Fantastic experience: I recently attended a wedding where Khia and her team provided all the catering needs, tables, chairs and so much more too. Everything was handled in such a slick, professional manner throughout the day from the morning start to the late evening finish. Fantastic experience: Khia and team were helpful and accommodating to many different changes we made in the planning of our wedding, including postponing due to lockdown, and then re-planning still within many covid restrictions. They took a lot of the stress away from us, and even added extras on the day that we had forgotten. On the day, the team of staff were absolutely amazing, making the seated bar service run far more smoothly than we had expected! Fantastic experience: Khia and her team looked after the catering for about 70 people after my husband's funeral. Everything was arranged beautifully and without fuss, a great bonus at this very difficult time for me.

Fantastic experience: Khia saved us providing tables and chairs for our wedding 12 hours before they were needed after we we let down by Bars N Events (DO NOT USE THEM). Khia and her dad are lovely, professional people. Highly Recommend. Donna & Nigel
