Fantastic experience: The best decision I made about my wedding was getting Steph involved!! Hiring a wedding coordinator was not something I’d considered until my venue lost two internal events coordinators in the 6 months before my wedding. A friend suggested that I look into an independent coordinator as an option. I spoke to 3 coodinators in the Yorkshire area but I clicked with Steph immediately and knew she was the one for me (much like when I met my husband!). She is confident and knows what she is doing. Steph is extremely organised and incredibly easy to work with. Every detail was covered. Steph gave me advice on anything I needed eg how much evening food to order (she was bang on) down to options for my aisle procession. Steph created an amazing event plan for me which I could share with the bridal party. She worked out timings and liased with the suppliers, ensuring they had their section of the event plan. Nothing was too much trouble. On the day she ensured everyone was where they needed to be, announced all key events, organised the layout and set the table with flowers/candles/wedding favours, the list goes on! I was worried about how the day would go before I engaged with Steph but with Steph on board, I had so much confidence everything was going to be amazing. Thank you so much Steph xxx

Fantastic experience: Steph was an absolute godsend for our wedding! After planning a lot of decor and details myself, I was looking for an on-the-day coordinator to help my plan come to life and help me keep stress down on the day. Me and my partner met her a couple of times to talk through our plans and it was immediately clear she cared deeply about her work and making sure our vision came to life. Steph then joined us at our venue the day before our wedding to spend hours helping us set up, then tirelessly worked alongside vendors on the day to make sure our wedding ran smoothly… even in a chaotic rain storm! From getting me in my dress on the morning to helping me clean puddle water from my shoes during the reception… she was a real-life Wedding Fairy Godmother! I don’t think I would have been able to enjoy our day as much without the reassurance of having her there. Deciding to hire Steph was genuinely the best decision we made for our special day and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to other couples who are looking at her services. Fantastic experience: Steph coordinated our wedding at Sheriff Hutton Castle, and from our first conversation, she gave us real confidence that everything would run smoothly. With a big DIY setup and an outdoor ceremony, there were a lot of balls to juggle! But Steph was brilliant throughout. She made sure every detail was covered and was everywhere she needed to be on the day, allowing us to fully enjoy the moment with our friends and family. And she's just a fantastic person who we genuinely enjoyed spending time with in the lead-up to the day and the day itself!

Fantastic experience: Steph was absolutely amazing!! She was so organised, helpful, communicative and supportive, and has impeccable attention to detail!! We had on the day coordination and Steph went above and beyond to make sure the day went smoothly, from a site visit 6 weeks before and helping us set up the day before, to putting together the most amazing on the day schedule and coordinating all of our suppliers. You can tell that she really cares and puts so much effort into making the day perfect, and she is so friendly, personable and fun to work with! 100% would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Steph supported our wedding in March, and from the get-go did everything she could to make our day memorable. We went with her day coordination as well as design package. Steph is an excellent planner and is very thorough, which allowed us to take things off our mind in the run-up to the day and on the day. On the design side, Steph brought great ideas and energy, regularly messaging us with pieces she had seen which could complement our theme. Aside from the role description though, Steph provides more than just a service and I want to call that out as a stand-out point. She is very generous with her time and supported my wife and I through every step of our planning, and became a friend in the process. She surpassed my expectations. 100% recommend Steph!

Fantastic experience: Steph coordinated our wedding in April and honestly, she was worth her weight in gold! From the get go on the day she was in and out of my room making sure I was okay and I had everything I needed, to checking on my husband, I knew I had absolutely nothing to worry about or even think about! She was so good with the details and everything was absolutely perfect. She even mucked in serving wines with the wedding breakfast! I would 100000% recommend her, I spent most of the day telling the guests how amazing she was!

Fantastic experience: It was towards the end of last year that I had the pleasure of working with Steph of S B. Events as the photographer at a Yorkshire wedding venue for a luxuriously, elegant, black and white themed wedding. I had already met her and had heard many good things about her calm manner and professionalism. During the planning of the wedding, she replied promptly and thoroughly, and made everything smooth and easy for myself as well as her couple. On the wedding day itself, she magically, made sure that everybody was ok from the couple of course, as well as their guests to the wedding creatives involved. She made my job easier and nicer and was open to creative suggestions to ensure that the couple received the best photographs possible that matched their aesthetic. It was hard to believe that she had been up since 5 am – she was friendly and smiling the whole day through, and I am so looking forward to working with her again.

Fantastic experience: Steph, We’ve been waiting for a mo so we can send you a real thank you because what you helped us create on Saturday was beyond anything we thought we could. It couldn’t have been a better day, we’re just in awe at how amazing everything turned out and all those amazing final touches and the seamless running of the day was ALL you and it was so lovely to be able to know EVERYTHING was totally in hand and we could enjoy ourselves to the full. We just can’t thank you enough, really! To all nearlyweds, We chose a DIY wedding in North Yorkshire, and I can’t stress enough how much we valued having Steph with us. If you’re contemplating whether you can do it yourself and there’s no need for a wedding planner/organiser, please don’t think twice about it. It was the best decision we made. We were on the same page with Steph all the way through and she offers different packages to suit what you need. I can honestly say that she was a dream to work with and I knew I could relax knowing she was on top of everything x

Fantastic experience: Stef at SB Events is a simply fantastic events planner. She is meticulous in her planning, organising and bringing together all the little important (yet maybe forgotten) details. She has so much knowledge and is very friendly and approachable! She is supporting my wedding planning and without her I would be lost... no question is a daft question, she explains everything in a nice way without making me feel stupid. Then she goes above and beyond providing so much help, ideas and offer of additional supplier finding etc. Couldn't ask for better!

Fantastic experience: Steph was our wedding co-ordinator, and she did a fabulous job!! On the run up to the wedding we met face-to-face twice, once for a meeting and another time to view the venue. Steph knew all the right questions to ask to make sure everything was covered. On the run up to the wedding I bombarded Steph with queries and general wedding anxieties and she always responded immediately with helpful replies. Steph was always happy to help with anything and she certainly got stuck in during the day itself, helping the catering and working behind the bar!! As well as her professionalism, Steph also was generally a very thoughtful person, giving us goody bags for the run up to the wedding is just one example. We really appreciated all of your help Steph, you don't know how much easier it made the whole day!
