Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing service. Charan felt like a trusted confidant from our very first call. We had an intercultural marriage and Charan absolutely nailed ensuring both sides were represented through the food, music, vendor selection. We started planning in October and had an August wedding and Charan was so on top of every deadline and planning that leading up to our wedding we were very relaxed!!! So much that people couldn't believe our wedding was coming up because we were so calm. We knew we had the best person working on it all! Charan goes above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect day. She was always there as a sounding board and was so incredibly helpful in the decision making process. She managed all the vendors with elegance and on our wedding day we were totally present and unaware of any of the behind the scenes. Our friends and family even noted how amazing Charan and her team were on the day. Our guest felt very taken care. On the day of the wedding Charan was so amazing at supporting me and my husband, checking in on both of us. She had very calm energy which was contagious. She was also seamlessly coordinating with her team via walkie talkies so the entire day felt very professional. She also was so sweet and checking in on my parents and family. Charan was also always visible during the wedding day so if any questions or concerns popped into my head she was ALWAYS there to help ease any worry. Something I'll always be grateful for. If i could plan an anniversary party tomorrow I would choose Charan! I would work with Ivory Events again and again! It felt like working with a friend <3

Her communication was excellent throughout, and she consistently went above and beyond to support us at every stage of the wedding planning journey. She helped us manage communication with suppliers, kept everything on track with well-structured weekly calls and gave us total peace of mind that our plans would come together seamlessly. Everything was perfectly organised, Charan had multiple back up plans to help with unforeseen mishaps and thanks to their professionalism and calm presence, we were able to enjoy our day without a single worry. Fantastic experience: I had the absolute pleasure of working with Charan and her team (Henna, Sapna and Kajaal) on 19th July for a beautiful wedding. The wedding was held at Sezincote House in the Cotswolds and, unfortunately, thunderstorms had been forecast for the entire weekend. Understandably our couple were very worried but Charan took this all in her stride and we set up both wet and dry weather seating the day before so that come the day either plan would be in place. On the day, luckily, the weather held and we were able to have the wedding outside. At no point was Charan phased by anything. She kept us briefed at all times, was calm when the skies were grey and an immense support to not only our clients but to us suppliers as well. Negative experience: 1-Star Review: Highly Disappointing Wedding Coordination Experience I hired Charan Atti to coordinate my wedding, expecting a seamless and professional experience, but it was a major letdown. For the reception event - despite agreements made during the site visit, Charan made last-minute changes without my consent, such as altering positioning of key entertainment and seating arrangements, which disrupted the event flow. The cocktail hour setup was poorly executed—musicians were placed in a way that required unnecessary amplification and resulted in them not even being seen by guests- this was contrary to my agreed wishes. Communication started well but soon became a nightmare. Charan conducted key video calls from her car with bad reception, making it incredibly difficult to hear her, which added unnecessary stress. The formal wedding plan documents were also a mess—not even in chronological order, with events listed as ending before they started on the timeline, making it impossible to follow. When I raised concerns, Charan dismissed them with no apology until pressed - solely acknowledging there had been mistakes made. On reception day the explanation was issues were “out of their control,” despite everything else supposedly being followed to plan. Had similar issues at the morning gurdwara breakfast. Charan was unable to coordinate the caterers as agreed and required. Lastly when queried - I had to chase her for explanations / responses on critical issues. Overall, I felt unsupported and let down on one of the most important days of my life. Charan’s team failed to deliver on their promises, and I strongly advise against using their services for wedding planning.

Fantastic experience: It was a pleasure having Charan as my wedding coordinator! I was so at ease once I’d handed everything over to her and she ensured that all wedding events ran smoothly on the day! Charan was supportive beforehand as well and took her time to get to know us as a couple too and how we had visioned our wedding day. Thanks for everything Charan! Would recommend :)

Fantastic experience: Charan as an absolute dream to work with. Extremely knowledgeable in the business, and a really calm and collected demeanour - exactly what every couple needs through the crazy wedding planning journey. Charan you were so helpful and no ask was too big. We planned our 3 day, big Indian wedding in 6 months - and we could never have done it without you. The weekend was seamless and everything ran to the minute - this would never have happened without your excellent coordination skills. If there were any issues over the weekend, we were not made aware or didn't hear anything about it because Charan handled it all and kept all stresses away from us and allowed us to enjoy our special weekend. We highly recommend Charan as a wedding planner and coordinator, you were superb especially on the day ensuring we had a seamless and stress-free weekend, exactly how we wanted. Money well spent as a part of the wedding budget for sure. Charan is extremely professional, calm and helpful - our special day wouldn't have been the way it was without her! Fantastic experience: The biggest thank you to Charan (and her team) for everything, throughout the planning to on the day. Our day wouldnt have been what it was without them. They ensured that our wedding day was totally stress free for us and for our families, and it meant we could truly enjoy our day. They helped make our wedding day unforgettable. Nothing was too much to ask or too big of a task for them. Charan was calming and positive throughout the lead up and on the day which helped us to relax and enjoy the day. She liaised with all of our suppliers and her communication was brilliant and efficient. I don’t think there’s many things more important on your wedding day than to be able to enjoy it, embrace it all without stress and be present in the day…without Charan this wouldn’t have been possible for us. Fantastic experience: Where to start? Charan, Kajaal and her team were amazing from start to finish, so much so I refuse to leave them alone now ahaha! Jokes aside, Charan's expertise in Asian as well as Interfaith weddings has been invaluable. She made our day exactly as we hoped. Charan was great at connecting us with suppliers who suited our style and vibe, and throughout took charge when things needed steering. Her affable nature, work-ethic, openness and flexibility to new ideas, suppliers and ways of doing things is what made our wedding planning process as easy as it could be. Fantastic experience: We would just love to say a huge thank you to Charan for helping us on our wedding event. She helped plan and coordinate both my Jago and Wedding day, and I must say she offered a wide range of support and assistance throughout the year of planning. Charan helped bring our vision to life and was persistent in making our dream marquee wedding come to true! As well as this, she help in constructing our itinerary for the days and being on site to execute it all. In the lead up, Charan offered an excellent selection of suppliers (impressing my mum very much) and haggled the price (which definitely won my dad over)! After our initial meeting with Charan I knew she understood our vision and expectations very well and although there were a few aspects which were inevitably uncontrollable, Charan helped in managing them all very well. In the past year of planning I think we must’ve been the hardest clients Charan has worked with in terms of utter attention to detail and always wanting the best! But Charan alway brought options to the table with a huge smile which in many ways were everything we wanted and more. All the supplier Charan offered exceeded our expectations and met the majority of our budgeted requirements. So thank you for being a huge support and amazing event planner. More than that, Charan has become a close friend to myself in offering a support network and lending ear as and when I need it - so thank you so much for everything you did for the wedding, as well as going above and beyond personally!!

Fantastic experience: We loved having Charan as part of our wedding day! She provided partial wedding planning services in the year leading up to our day and her knowledge, expertise and advice was invaluable in helping us to create the most perfect day! We had regular calls with Charan to check in on how our wedding planning was going and she knew when to step in and help ease the stress of wedding planning! Charan and her team gave us inspiration to make our day special and also took away the stress of organising all the suppliers which meant that all we had to do was just enjoy our day! Fantastic experience: If we could give Charan 10 stars we would. She was absolutely invaluable for the planning and coordination of our wedding. Firstly she is the most genuinely lovely person you could meet, she instantly put us at ease as soon as we met her. She was extremely proactive, professional and organised throughout the planning of our wedding, and had often already done things I was planning to ask her about. She honestly went above and beyond to ensure our events went to plan, working around the clock, nothing was too much trouble. We had a few inevitable hiccups in regards our event, however Charan instantly put us at ease when anything unexpected occurred, she would work out the best possible solution to any issue, which often ended up being better than what we had initially planned. We felt completely at ease knowing we were in the best possible hands throughout our special day. We honestly hold a special place in our hearts for Charan and hope to work with her again one day - our wedding would not have been the same without her :). Fantastic experience: We just want to say a huge thank you to Charan and her team at Ivory Events and Weddings! Working and planning alongside Charan over the last year was amazing. Charan was so helpful in finding us vendors and always ensured they came within budget and were able to match the aesthetic we were after. She also liaised with the suppliers directly, meaning we never had to worry about chasing anyone up. She always maintained professionalism, even when dealing with difficult suppliers. Charan was incredibly flexible and supportive as we dealt with uncertainty over our year of planning due to Covid. Not only did she help us prepare a plan B if we went into lockdown, she also supported us with finding the perfect venue twice over as we changed our minds. Charan offered us regular check-in calls over the course of the year to make sure we knew where the planning was up to. She would also drop us a message on a regular basis to ensure we were doing okay, even after the wedding was over! Everything on our wedding day went exactly to plan thanks to the team! We were able to enjoy our day and be in the moment without having to worry about the little details Charan was taking care of. We honestly can’t recommend Charan and the team enough!

Fantastic experience: Just want to say a huge thank you to Charan for helping us plan our wedding from start to finish. I was always against having a wedding planner but Charan genuinely cared about me not just as a bride but as a friend. She was never pushy and no one knows the hard work and stress of planning a wedding until it's your turn. So thank you for everything Charan! I came across her instagram page which I loved. Deffo listened to everything we wanted and was constantly checking in on me and letting me know that she was always available. In such a time of uncertainty she was so on it and reassuring, coming up with multiple plans (in so much detail too!) to make sure we got the day we wanted. She saw our wedding through, beginning to end as well as co-ordinated the day, which allowed for not just me and my husband to have a stress free day but our families too!

Feels like ages ago we started the process of wedding planning and the day was over so fast. Throughout the 18 months you have been great with finding vendors that suit our needs & budget. It feels like we have been on a roller coaster ride with planning in covid (especially our venue cancellation!). You have been a great support and incredibly helpful on the day. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t have done the wedding without The Ivory Events Team! I’m so glad I came across Charan from the Ivory Events team as she was very helpful in the planning process and with the on the day coordination. Charan created a clear and very detailed itinerary for the day and was able to liaise with all of my suppliers which took away a lot of stress from me and my family leading up to the big day. For those who are unsure about having a coordinator, I would 100% recommend talking to Charan as she listens to your exact needs and provides a bespoke service. It’s been a few weeks from my wedding and I’m still getting compliments on how smoothly the day went, this was all thanks to Charan. There were of course hiccups on the day, but Charan was very professional and handled any situations both smoothly and calmly so that guests were unaware. The Ivory events team went above and beyond expectations and I wouldn’t change anything about the service I received. I would definitely use them for any other future events.

Fantastic experience: Charan helped plan and execute the table decor and gifts for my cousins surprise bridal lunch, and she was absolutely amazing! Professional, creative and the attention to detail was spot on. Everyone was blown away with the table settings and I couldn’t have been happier with it!
