Fantastic experience: Rach is BRILLIANT! I worked alongside her as a DJ at a couple of large scale weddings this summer and she was just incredible. Calm and in control at all times, even when spinning so many organisational plates and with lots of suppliers like me asking her endless questions, she had every detail at her finger tips and both events ran as smooth as clock work. Rachel was the first person to arrive on site early in the morning, and still there working so hard when I was packing down at 1am, and still smiling! Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Words can barely express how Rachel calmly and efficiently co-ordinated my daughter’s beautiful wedding. Her attention to detail was incredible. I was in the throws of moving abroad on the run up to the big day - not ideal when hosting a wedding at home!! Rachel is a delight to work with. Friendly, relaxed, sense of humour with a no nonsense approach when required - very useful to keep everything to the timeline. What a success the day was in every single way. I need Rachel in my life full time!!

Fantastic experience: Rachel is amazing! We hired her as our stylist for our wedding at the beautiful Elmore Court, and she brought our vision to life with complete perfection. We wanted to go all out with bold, joyful colour, and Rachel totally got it. She understood our brief straight away and ran with it, suggesting brilliant ideas and creative touches that elevated everything. She also recommended some fantastic, high quality suppliers - her network is amazing - and was always on hand with thoughtful and creative suggestions. Hiring Rachel was hands down the best money we spent. She took full charge of the styling and decor on the day, so we could completely relax, knowing everything was in expert hands. We trusted her implicitly, and not once did we worry that things wouldn’t be exactly how we hoped (if not better!). Fantastic experience: Rachel is utterly brilliant. If you are looking for someone who will take the reigns as much as YOU need them to (in our case this was a lot), will genuinely listen to every single one of your requests and ideas and help you bring your dream wedding to life in an incredibly organised and calm manner, then this is your planner. Rachel has a wonderful aura about her. She is very direct and to the point which is exactly what you need when you are wedding or party planning however, she has the patience of a saint and will work with you to ensure you are getting what you want and need in the most tasteful way and has some incredibly recommendations and relationships with some very talented suppliers. We really would not have had the wedding of our absolute dreams if it wasn’t for Rachel. She was with us throughout the whole of our Wedding (we had a 3 day event) and she made everything seamless and worked her absolute socks off, looking incredible whilst doing it. We had a few mishaps throughout the process, and we would never have known as she had sorted them out seamlessly before we even knew what had happened! Rachel is superb at keeping you on track and accountable for your required input and actions and will always communicate with you in the way that works best for you. Everyone who attended our wedding said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and highlighted how incredibly smooth everything went and how brilliantly organised the whole thing was. Rachel was also on hand to get me into my dress on the day (photo’s attached) whilst giving me a pep talk and carry my train too, she is just the nicest most genuine person. We genuinely adore Rachel and I truly do consider her a great friend of ours. Thank you, Rachel!

Fantastic experience: Rachel is AMAZING – don’t hesitate to book her! She was our wedding coordinator , and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her. My wedding took place at my parents’ house, which isn’t a conventional wedding venue, and as someone who isn’t great at accepting help, I was repeatedly told by others that I needed someone to manage the day. Thank goodness I listened, because Rachel was an absolute lifesaver. She came highly recommended by a friend who said she was brilliant, and they were absolutely right. From the very beginning, Rachel was engaging, supportive, and involved in every step of the process. On the day, she managed all the suppliers (and there were a lot of them, including a rather difficult chef) and ensured everything ran seamlessly. I’m pretty sure things must have gone wrong at some point, but I never noticed because Rachel had it all under control. Despite the challenges of working with a location that wasn’t set up for weddings – dealing with generators going down, glassware issues, tricky access points, and car parking in farmers’ fields – Rachel handled it all with ease. She truly became part of the day and was there from start to finish, even looking after one of my friends who had a bit too much to drink! Rachel, we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you so much for everything!

Fantastic experience: Rachel helped plan our wedding and coordinate on the day. We couldn’t have asked for anything more - she was incredibly organised, professional and capable, she was proactive and always two steps ahead of us. She understood the brief perfectly and gave us exactly the right amount of support and guidance in planning, providing tips and recommendations as needed. On the day, and in the lead up, we felt so looked after by Rachel - we didn’t once stop to think about logistics on the day, it was seemlessly taken care of. Fantastic experience: What can I say! Rachel took my vision and brought it to life...and then some. Her support, skill and organisation were second to none and because I was able to put my trust in her and her lovely team, I knew that everything would work out just perfectly - and it did! I can't thank Rachel enough for the hours of chatting on the phone to me, chasing down suppliers, and guiding my creativity to result in the most spectacular day, that many weeks on, people (including myself and my new hubby) are still raving about. <3

Fantastic experience: We live in the U.S. and were planning a wedding in the very beautiful but very distant Cotswolds. One of the first and best decisions we made after we chose our venue was hiring Rachel. Her knowledge of the absolute best of the best local vendors was invaluable in creating the most magical day of our lives. Rachel's taste level is exceptional but, having said that, what's even more impressive is she took a jumbled collection of ideas of what we like (color! fun! gold! rustic...but elevated!) and expertly focused our thoughts into an unbelievable and gorgeous backdrop for our big day. We couldn't have been happier and we got so many compliments from everyone on the signage, the flowers, the decor, the styling, the furniture and games, the general setting and ambience - and Rachel had a hand in creating it all. Working with her was really effortless, and that's saying something considering our 8-hour time difference. She always made herself available to meet if we needed to hash things out or answer lots and lots of emails. She has an incredibly calming and reassuring presence, is perfectly organized and across everything. I mean it when I say there was not a SINGLE hitch of any kind on the wedding day - everything looked incredible, was executed incredibly and what felt to me like effortlessly but surely there was a ton of effort to make it all feel so seamless. It was truly incredible having Rachel to help create and bring to life our big day. If you're considering hiring Rachel, take this as a sign to do it now!

Fantastic experience: Rachel was absolutely incredible! I literally didn’t have one worry or doubt leading up to our wedding because I knew everything was taken care of. I actually think the morning of my wedding was one of the most relaxing mornings of my life, because I knew Rachel was there working her magic. Fantastic experience: Where do I start, Rachel was amazing and ensured we felt super relaxed on the lead up but also on the day! We got married in Cornwall over a weekend (Friday - Sunday) and so wanted to enjoy the lead up to the day with a 'rehearsal' dinner with our close family and friends. Rachel's creative eye ensured all the stationary matched with my vision. Arriving on the Friday to setup the breakfast room and ensure everything was put down and taken away on the Sunday so we didn't have to think about anything. I would recommend to ANYONE. Fantastic experience: Our wedding day at Elmore Court in April was totally perfect, and we have to thank Rachel and all her hard work for help making it so special. I'm sure behind the scenes, there were a few hiccups but Rachel made sure we didn't know about them and that the day ran smoothly. Elmore Court is a venue Rachel knows extremely well and although the wedding planners inhouse at the venue are amazing (big shout out to Annie!), it's reassuring to have an extra planner on the day, especially if you're planning a big wedding with lots of logistics and suppliers to co-ordinate (we had three different music acts including a surprise brass band, magician, glitter station etc). We had ambitious plans for our decoration at the venue including a red carpet arrival and lots of cool disco balls/props. This is where Rachel became invaluable because her creativity and stylish flair was exactly what we needed too ensure our venue had the wow factor when our guests arrived. She also worked brilliantly with our florist to make sure all designs were gorgeous and suggested ideas on how to repurpose flowers and arrangements on the day to help save money. She has a wonderfully calming nature which is exactly what you need to de-stress you on the day and is efficient and quick to make decisions. Before the wedding, we naively thought we could do a lot of the decoration, planning, organising on our own. In hindsight, Rachel was possibly the best decision we made as it gave me somebody to bounce ideas off in the lead up to the wedding and took away a lot of pressure and allowed us to really enjoy it our big day. Also, if you forget anything on the day (fishing wire for decorations, printing off speeches, stain remover wipes if there's make up on your dress!), Super Rachel will be there to save the day!

Fantastic experience: I cant even put into words how incredible Rachel was at producing the most spectacular, special and out of this world day for us, from start to finish her attention to detail, organisation, calmness and kindness went far beyond anything, nothing was too much however elaborate, wild or annoying and on the day she managed everything so so smoothly and beautifully, everything ran like clockwork and she worked so so so hard, I really could NOT recommend Rachel and her team at Salt and Scent more!!!!

Fantastic experience: Rachel came recommended by our venue, Elmore Court, as well as a mutual friend. She is extremely organised, creative, patient and easy to work with. We loved the process of planning our wedding with her and felt like she was a friend by the end of it all. Plus she put up with my constant concerns and decision-doubting! Fantastic experience: We used salt and scent for our wedding. We made homemade decorations which we wanted to use to decorate a barn for our wedding. Rachel was amazing. She was in contact with us prior to the day, we had a phone call on booking and she was always on the end of an email or phone if you needed her. Rachel allowed us to drop the decorations to her house prior to the wedding Day as we had no other way of getting our decorations to the barn on the morning of the wedding. Rachel put out the decorations beautifully, exactly as I wished for them to look in the barn. She was so kind, that she even provided candles for the tables as she felt they were needed when decorating the barn for us. This worked out so well and looked lovely as the day went on and got darker. She made every thing feel really easy and was so lovely when we met her when dropping off the decorations. Everyone needs a Rachel to add a little sparkle to their wedding. We are so grateful. Thankyou so much Rachel. We will be recommending you to anyone we know getting married.

Fantastic experience: We knew our wedding setup would be in safe hands with Rachel. She’s a lovely person to work with and brought calm to a hectic time. She went the extra mile to make everything perfect for us, and her wedding experience and beautiful taste are second to none. She worked so well with our florist, venue staff and suppliers to ensure everything ran smoothly and our venue looked its absolute best on our day.
